Readiness Programme-Academic Year 2026-2027 -Learning Improvement Programme-Mathematics

 GUIDELINES FOR READINESS PROGRAM

1. Divide your school students (6th to 9th class) into ABC groups according to their learning abilities and performance.
2. Prepare a time table of 5 periods with covering all subjects on a weekly basis and the last 3 periods (6 to 8 periods) must be allot to readiness program.
3. categorize students into 3 groups
   • A group - Advance learners
   • B group - Average learners
   • C group - Teacher supportive group (TSG)
4. Advance learners should be enriched with their subject.
5. Average learners and TSG students able to promote next level.
6. All teachers must be involved in this program as per Head of the institution.
7. A separate note book should be maintained by every student which resembles their practices.
8. Honorable district collector, DEO, District officers, CHMs, MEOs and PANNEL inspection team will monitor this program.
9. By 15th August Every Head of the institution must give a declaration that "Every student in our school can read and write."
10. Class 3 to 5 students should practice TELUGU, ENGLISH and MATHS basics as per FLN.

SUGGESTIVE METHODS TO ADOPT for CLASSES 6th to 9th

                                            SUBJECT: MATHEMATICS

Group A (Advanced Learners):

Focus: Higher-order thinking, Reasoning, and Problem-solving.

Discussion:

1. Mathematical problem solving using different methods?
2. Algebra in solving real-life problems?
3. Identifying patterns and their importantance in mathematics?
4. developing mathematical formulas and their application?
5. Data analysis to make better decisions?
6. Importantance of logical reasoning in mathematics?
7. Geometry concepts and their applications

Group B (Average Learners):

Focus: Conceptual understanding and Application.

Discussion:

1. Mathematical operations using Word problems
2. relationship between fractions, decimals , and percentages ?
3. ratio and proportion used in everyday situations?
4. solving simple algebraic equations?
5. difference between Geomerrical concepts area and perimeter?
6. Use of profit and loss calculations in business?
7. Use of graphs and charts to understand information?
8. solving LCM and HCF problems and their understanding

Group C (Teacher supportive group-TSG):

Focus: Strengthening foundational skills and confidence.

Discussion:

1. Number concept, Integers and Place values
2. Basic operations: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division
3. Comparing fractions
4. Properties of common geometric shapes
5. Usage mathematics to manage Time and Money
6. Read and Write: decimal numbers
7. How can we solve simple word problems step by step?
8. Doing simple LCM and HCF problems

SUBJECT: TELUGU

Group A (Advanced Learners):

• విషయవగాహన-RC, ప్రశ్నల స్వరూపం, పరిచయం, ప్రశ్నలు తయారు చేయడం. ప్రశ్నలకు జవాబులు రాయించడం.
• చదవడం, రాయడం -నేర్చుడంలో భాగంగా, ధారళంగా చదవడం, విషయవగాహన ప్రశ్నలు, స్వీయ రచన ప్రశ్నల సాధన చేయించడం.
• సృజనాత్మక ప్రశ్నలు (భాషా రూపాలు) పరిచయం చేయడం, చదివించడం, సాధన చేయించడం.
• లైబ్రరీ వినియోగము, పుస్తక పఠనం, కథ చెప్పడం, వ్యాస రచన, వ్యక్తిత్వం, క్విజ్, పడకేళి, మొదలగు ప్రక్రియల సాధన.

Group B (Average Learners):

• గుణింతాక్షర పదాల నిర్మాణం, చదివించడం, రాయించడం.
• ద్విత్వ, సంయుక్త, బిందు పూర్వక అక్షరాల అభ్యాసం, చదివించడం, రాయించడం.
• విషయవగాహన-RC, ప్రశ్నల స్వరూపం, పరిచయం, ప్రశ్నలు తయారు చేయడం. ప్రశ్నలకు జవాబులు రాయించడం.
• చదవడం, రాయడం -నేర్చుడంలో భాగంగా, ధారళంగా చదవడం, విషయవగాహన ప్రశ్నలు, స్వీయ రచన ప్రశ్నల సాధన చేయించడం.

Group C (Teacher supportive group-TSG):

• వర్ణమాలలోని అక్షరాలను గుర్తించడం, పలకడం , 'క', నుండి 'హ' వరకు, సరళ పదాల నిర్మాణం.
• గుణింతాక్షర పదాల నిర్మాణం, చదివించడం, రాయించడం.
• ద్విత్వ, సంయుక్త, బిందుపూర్వక అక్షరాల అభ్యాసం, చదివించడం, రాయించడం.
• విషయవగాహన-RC, ప్రశ్నల స్వరూపం, పరిచయం, ప్రశ్నలు తయారు చేయడం. ప్రశ్నలకు జవాబులు రాయించడం.

Group B (Average Learners):

• Listen & understand the language in day to day communication
• Read, write and speak simple sentences
• Read, understand and answer questions of a simple text
• Understand and construct questions and targeted Discourses

Group C (Teacher supportive group-TSG):

• Listen & understand simplesentences
• Speak small phrases
• Letter, word identification
• Reading simple sentences like those of Subject-Verb-Object level
• Writing upto 3/4 letter words and 3/4 word sentences
